PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The motorcyclist who died after crashing into a car in Southeast Portland late Wednesday night has been identified, according to Portland police.

Just after 11 p.m., authorities say 22-year-old Phillip Taylor was riding southbound on Southeast 112th Avenue when he struck a car going eastbound on Southeast Flavel Street, driven by a 66-year-old woman.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, officials say.

The crash is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
