Oregon saw 1,100 immigration arrests in 2025
Arrests in Oregon in 2025 almost 10 times as high as previous year. Federal immigration agents arrested at least 1,100 people in Oregon in 2025, a significant increase from the 113 arrests recorded in all of 2024. This comes after the Trump administration announced it would target states like Oregon with laws preventing local law enforcement from coordinating with federal immigration officials. Oregon now ranks among the top five states with the largest year-over-year increases in ICE arrests. The Deportation Data Project collected national ICE arrest data from public records requests and data from immigration advocates. The rise in arrests came after President Donald Trump increased the national daily ICE arrest quota from 1,000 to 3,000 per day. While ICE claims its crackdowns are catching criminals, only 32% of those arrested in 2025 had criminal convictions.
