The Portland Association of Teachers Union should clarify its intentions regarding teaching materials it posted on its website about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict (“Portland teachers union links to lessons urging students to pray to Allah, write Biden to stop funding Israel,” June 6).
It’s troubling that leaders and educators would promote a one-sided view of the conflict and encourage children to pray to Allah.
