A motorcyclist was killed and a driver seriously injured after a collision on SE Flavel St. late last night, the Portland Police Bureau reports.
Portland Police officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Southeast Flavel Street and Southeast 112th Avenue around 11:16 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a motorcyclist deceased at the scene and the driver of a vehicle seriously injured. The driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The Portland Police Traffic Division Major Crash Team is responding to the scene to investigate the crash.
During the investigation, Southeast Flavel Street is closed between Southeast 109th Avenue and Southeast 118th Drive. Southeast 112th Avenue is closed between Southeast Knapp Street and Southeast Malden Street.
